Okay, so her name’s not Virginia, but she is from Virginia.

I would like to introduce you to the Sarah Olmstead.

Sarah has played a HUGE role in keeping me on the World Race.

I first met Sarah at training camp. After an intense worship service, Sarah, Amber, and I were sitting together in the pavilion. Sarah, out of the blue asked, “What’s your story?”

Right then & there, the three of us shared our testimonies — the first of many times I would hear them.

I wanted to be on Sarah’s team … but that didn’t happen right away.

Cue launch week in the Philippines.

I was ready to go home. I was given a time period in which I had to choose if I was going to stay on the WR or if I was going to fly home with our coaches.

Obviously, I decided to stay. However — it took much convincing to get me to that decision. Thank you, Sarah Olmstead. Not only did she encourage me to stay, but she told me that our teams would be working together during the first month. Perfect!

The Philippines — Sarah was my friend & my rock. Without her, I might not have stayed on the WR. God definitely gave me the blessing of Sarah.

Transition between Thailand + Cambodia = team changes. My biggest fear was that I would be put on an already-established team. My fear became reality. When teams were announced, I was on a team with 4 people who had been on the same team since the beginning. I was super relieved to find out that I wasn’t the only new member to this team — Sarah was the other. 🙂

Cue Kenya. I was at a breaking point & God, again, used Sarah to show me His faithfulness [read that story here].

A few days ago Sarah and I went on a walk. Afterwards, I realized that if I had any regret over the past 4 ½ months, it would be that I have not spent enough quality time with Sarah. God has blessed me over and over this year through Sarah.
