Have you ever seen the Cingular commercial that says, “idk my bff Jill?” if not… you should check it out by clicking here.
The cool thing about this commercial for me is, I really do have a BFF Jill.
I have been SO blessed to have her in my life. I’ve grown up with her. I’ve known her since she was BORN. You see, not only is she my bff, but she is also my cousin. She’s my confidant, my friend, my pal.
I don’t think I’ve cried around anyone as much as I cry around Jill… but those tears mostly come from laughing so hard.
As hard as it will be for us to be away from each other for so long, I know she understands why I’m going. You see, Jill has a heart for God’s people. She has a heart for mission work. A large part of her heart is in Tanzania. I am SO excited to have the chance to go to the place Jill loves so much. Jill is one of the most beautiful women I have ever met, and I am so very thankful to call her my BFF Jill. ๐
Jill,
I love you. You are beautiful. You have made such a huge impact on my life. YOU were made for GREATNESS! I cannot help but make a blog JUST about you. Thank you for being a friend.
I hope you will look back on this blog when you miss me. ๐
Please take good care of Oscar.
Eat lots of Jell-o (the REAL kind).
Or just eat oodles of noodles
Say “yon’t” as much as possible.
Sing as many country songs as you can.
Jazzercise every day [the bigger the circle, the thinner the waist]
LITTLE SPOON!
“Sit on me… when you’re fatigued…”
“Every little thing that you do…”
and remember… “GOD bless you!”
And I couldn’t end this blog without the lyrics to what I like to think of as “our song.”
Thank you for being a friend,
Travelled down the road and back again.
Your heart is true; you're a pal and a confidant.
And if you threw a party,
Invited everyone you knew,
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say,
Thank you for being a friend.
Go love people like Jesus loves you. ๐
With all my love,
Samantha
