Even when life is
unpredictable, God can be depended upon. Yeah, He’s also unpredictable but at
least you know He’ll always be there to take care of you and be with you. I
love that even though you have no idea how He’s going to provide, He does. And
He comes up with the coolest ways of doing it! Like in the case of unexpected,
last minute donations 🙂 Btw, I’m still accepting them! So if anyone still
feels led to give at any point while I’m gone, I’d much appreciate it. I have
the $6000 needed for launch out of the $14,800 that I need to be fully funded.
I know a few people have said they would support me and haven’t donated yet;
now would be a terrific time to come through on that! 😀
Ahh, the last
minute rush of getting everything packed and ready to go. I think I have
everything… I’m hoping and praying I do, but I’m sure I’ll arrive in my team’s first stop of Busia,
Kenya and be like, “Ohhh, man… I wish I had this! Come to think of it, it’ll
probably happen in every country. Haha but that’s all part of learning to live
without, and live within God’s will and depend on Him. I’m thrilled to be
heading there; I’m sitting on my bed and I feel like wiggling and dancing (I already
am like a little kid on the inside lol) because I’m so excited! As I type this,
I’m listening to some Kenyan gospel music and it’s fueling my God-desire to be
there fulfilling the mission that He’s given me.
I head to
Washington, D.C. on Saturday to spend a final weekend dancing with some friends
before reporting to Dulles on Tuesday afternoon. It’s been great seeing so many
of my friends and catching up before I leave! Thanks to everyone who’s taken
the time to hang out with me, to all of those who have been willing to drive to
get me and take me places because I don’t have a car, for all my awesome and
amazing friends and family… the past few weeks have showed me just how much God
has blessed me in the area of relationships. I couldn’t ask for better. So here’s
to all of you! Three cheers for all! Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! And a huge
hallelujah and amen for God 🙂
