Have you ever thought how charismatic God is? He’s pretty
awesome. I looked up the definition of the word today on dictionary.com and
this is what it said –
Theology. a divinely
conferred gift or power; a spiritual power or personal quality that gives an
individual influence or authority over large numbers of people; the special virtue of an office, function, position, etc.,
that confers or is thought to confer on the person
holding it an unusual ability for leadership, worthiness of
veneration, or the like.
God definitely is
worthy of veneration, and I’m sure you’d agree that his ability for leadership
is unusual (in a great way, of course!). The depth of His power and grace and
wisdom are unfathomable but He’s definitely been revealing it to me over the
past few weeks with things happening in my life. Especially in this last week
when I have been spending time with my boyfriend before we both leave. It’s
hard because I’m leaving for eleven months and the month before I get back,
he’s supposed to deploy to the Middle East so we won’t see each other for a
year and a half. But God has blessed us with a wonderful week full of fun and
enjoyment and time spent building a stronger relationship. He is wonderful!
On another note, our route has changed! And
it will probably change multiple times while we’re on the field but here is the
latest list of countries to which I am now traveling. As of now, it’s Kenya,
Rwanda, Uganda, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines, China, Romania,
Moldova, and Ukraine. Ahhh I can’t wait! Haha and I’m sure I’ll be singing this song the whole time and I’ll for sure be living on a prayer. But it’s all good because that means God is totally in control. I’d rather have Him in charge than anyone else!
