Thus far on the race, it has been weird yet amazing to experience the reaction of people toward me. It seems like in every country I go to I tend to stick out like a sore thumb. Three of the main reasons I believe this is so is because I am an African American, southern accent, and I am a foreigner. Even in Africa, I seemed to stick out because I was black yet not from Africa nor did I speak their language; this confused many of the kids. What I have seen come from this is a strong interest from people to ask me where i am from, why am i different, and what am i doing here. Now of course because I can't help but share Christ with people I encounter, I've used these opportunities to share the good news. So I am thankful that in these countries I am looked at weird, approached differently, yet able to use such opportunity to share Christ. The reality is that not everyone I share the gospel with will understand and accept. I've realize that there are two types of people in the world, those who are being saved and those who are perishing.
1Corinthians
1:18 For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

It's very funny to read the body expressions of people as well.
I'm sure that there are many other things that people have thought of and felt afraid to share it but yes this is the reality of being black on the race (for me personally).
