Lets be real lil Rich, people don't know about the lust issue, people don't know about the sleepless nights because you felt this life was hopeless, people don't know about the hurt and pain under the huge smile because you do a great job hiding your insecurities, people don't know about the true internal battles perhaps because in your mind you believe that only what you portray to people on the outside is what matters right? Wrong! Oh, don't let me forget i must say you make me laugh bro, because you even walk around listening to Pac, snoop, & Dre scream "Thug Life" but you don't know what that life is really about. It's funny how mainstream music can make you live a life internally that you will never nor have ever lived externally. You may hang around people that live that life or try to, but naw Rich that aint you.
Look man, I'm not trying to bash you or trying to make it seem like you are just messed up and have no hope. I just want you to wake up and see reality and to embrace the truth and deal with it. You can choose to ignore what I've called out and settle with "it's not true" but bro if anybody knows you in and out it’s me, so I'm sure I've hit the bulls eye. The fact of the matter is you are on a hopeless endeavor if you do not live and abide in Christ. He must be supreme in your life! Logic demands that Christ is either everything to us or he is nothing!!!
My advice to you after all of this would be to truly turn to Christ and live for him. He demands radical submission because he died a radical death. He is the only one we can lay hold of that we may have eternal life and experience true intimacy with our creator. There is nothing that you can't take to him, there isn't anything you can't lay before his cross and he won't deal with and save you to the utter most. And when you truly experience that love, when you truly experience that grace, when you truly experience that mercy, trust me bro football will no longer be your God, Christ will! Those women, you won't see as objects but rather Gods esteemed and valued daughters and you will treat them as such. Their internal virtue and adorning will be more beautiful to you than that on the outside. Your ego and pride will be annihilated because you will begin to hunger for the humility of Christ. And when you say the name Jesus and talk about him, this time it will be for real and sincere.
My prayer for you is that The Lord would use this letter to draw you to repentance and utter desperation of Christ and when you have come to that point his love would saturate you so that you will never be the same. I pray that you would be a man after the heart of God, and that in your youth you would be unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ though you live in a culture where people are ashamed of it. Be different, because it is powerful, It is living, it is abiding, and it endures forever. I pray that you find strength by running to the Lord and you find rest in Christ knowing that he is sufficient and satisfying and you don't need to be anything great in order to know him but rather be weak, feeble, dependent with a poor and a contrite spirit and all else in life will fall into place.
