I may not be; but oh how I am

I may not be adored by the world
But oh how I am loved by the creator

I may not be beautiful in the spectacle of most

But oh how I am the apple of his eye
I may not be remembered by you
But oh how I am never forsaken by him
I may not be strong in stature

But oh how I am resilient in spirit
I may not be seen as wise
But oh how I am a fool for Christ
I may not be known for tenacity
But oh how I am relentless in my pursuit
I may not be inscribed on the wall of fame
But oh how I am engraved in the palm of his hand
I may not be fitting for that type of community
But oh how I am the kinship of a family that outnumbers the sand
I may not be classified as legendary
But oh
how I am everything he has commissioned me to be
I may not be flawless by nature
But oh how I am endlessly forgiven
I may not be a possessor of plentiful
But oh how I am never in lack
I may not be commendable of much
But oh how I am a part of a great heavenly inheritance
I may not be splendid in this existence

But oh how I am a child of the KING OF KINGS
It can’t get any glorious than that
I may not be; but oh how I am
