We were in Verbena doing a VBS for the children.
It was an amazing 3 days, filled with joy and God's tremendous love.
For those of you who may not know, I have a bit of a struggle relating to children.
Okay, a lot of a struggle.
In fact, when I think of doing young kids ministry, I get pretty anxious.
God grew me so much in this area this month!
Come the third day of VBS my team was in charge of games.
Perfect! I love games!
This has been getting easier and easier every day, and all I have to do is run around with them.
Well, not quite what God had planned.
I ended up holding 2 kids for almost the entire time.
One was a little girl named Karley who was close to 3 years old.
The second was this precious bug eyed little baby.
I fell in love with her the second her warm little face nuzzled into my neck.
God changed me.
I didn't want to put her down, when I normally wouldn't have picked her up in the first place.
I held this little treasure for the rest of our time there.
I prayed over her furture and spoke life over her with my teammate Angela.
She will forever be in my heart.
Towards the end of the day, sometime inbetween taking her naps on my shoulder and taking off her headband, she peed on me.
I didn't realize it at first, but then my tanktop felt a little cold.
After sacraficing some of my teammates noses, we came to the conclusion she had peed on me.
Here's when I recognized God truly had changed my heart.
I looked at my friend Riah who had just informed me what exactly was on my shirt, and I said,
"She peed on me & I don't even care."
