Yep I get to level for Training Camp fully funded, once all the checks get processed I will be there.
You may be wondering how that all happened, well it is simple When God calls you to do something, he will always provide the needed funds and supplies for the trip or project.
This is how God showed up and got me the needed funds,
1. My Grandma left behind $5,000 and God told my mom to donate to my account.
2. A great job doing something I love doing. Best part is that it ends just before I leave for Training Camp!
3. My church gave $4,628 towards it. This happened though a mission board meeting ( $1,000 was given) and the HUGE blessing of being able to tell my church about my trip around the world and they gave a total of $3,628 in the offering and at my table in the lobby.
4. My family and friends believed in me and donated to my account.
Here is my message to Future Racers (and I am one of you): God will provide, It may not be on your timetable, but he will get you the needed funds. For some it might mean giving up something you like to eat or drink, for others it might be doing extra work, for others it might mean lots of fundraisers.
To Current Races: Deadlines are a thing, but do not stress out about them, stay focused on your ministry and don’t over worry about the amount in your account. God will provide the money for the trip on his time table, and not yours.
To Racers who have finished: You know God provided the money for the trip, Some of you finished fundraising before the 1st deadline and some finished on the last day for the 4th deadline.
A big thank you to all who have supported me though all of this and to all those who have kept me in their prayers during this fundraising process.
Even though I have all the funds for my trip, I have yet to get the last few items off my list for gear. The total amount I need for Gear, On the field expenses (food, travel days, clean water, toilet paper, etc) Plane ticket to the city where I will meet my squad and depart is about $2,600.
