After travelling on 2 planes…

Sleeping…

And dancing the wobble through the Hong Kong Airport.

Two trains in Kuala Lumpur…

A bus(super nice one too) from Kuala Lumpur to Penang…

A taxi (sorry no picture, I was asleep) and 46 hours we made it to Penang!!!! As of today, my fourth day in country I am finally starting to get over my jet lag.
Yesterday we were able to help out with a soup kitchen, that served over 100 people from the streets of Penang. Then last night we were able to spend some time on the streets praying over people and seeing what the nightlife is made up of in this city. From addiction, to homelessness, to fisherman, to prostitutes we saw it all and began to allow our hearts to explore what ministry will look like here in Malaysia this month.
As a squad leader I unfortunately don't get to stick around here for very long. On Monday, my co-leader Justin and I will make another bus journey to see our third of four teams this month. Our job as we are out these four months is to minister and disciple our teams, while they in turn disciple and pour into the people in the coutries that we visit. There are definitely many opportunities for us to minister to the locals but unfortunately it's not as often as I would like sometimes.
As I begin to transition again next week and probably every week for the next four months will you pray protection, God's favor, grace, rest, peace and unity over Justin and myself?
I know God has great things in store for this squad and I look forward to seeing God's plans unfold. Thank you for your prayers!
