Show of hands: how many of you found, became interested in, the Race by reading blogs of Racers on the field?

One of the best ways and most consistent ways we have to recruit
new Kingdom-Bringers to go on the Race and to let people know what we
are doing is through the World Race blog network.  Over the next year
you all will become expert bloggers.

There are a lot of World Race blogs out there.  Some are really
insightful and well-written.  Many vividly capture experiences on the
field.  There are also some that could use some work.

We want to set you up to share your experience with your
friends, family, and the world most effectively.  We’ll start today by
having you check out a couple blogs and think about what you like and
don’t like about them.

Use the links below to read the following two blogs.  Once you
have read both blogs, post a comment to this blog with your answer to
these three questions:
1. Which blog did you like better?
2. Why? Which one thing about the blog did you like best?
3. What is the biggest area of improvement for this Racer on this particular blog?

She Doesn’t Know It Yet     by Stacey Hume – P Squad

“She doesn’t know it yet, but her mother is dead and her father is not
around.  In fact, no one knows who her father is.  She has beautiful
brown eyes, and skin and hair.”

Tanzanian Premier League   by Kyle Bradberry – O Squad

“What I found out that night and two days later was that I was playing
with one of the city’s best soccer teams.  The team invited me to
practice with them everyday and come to their games.”
