I can’t send you each a letter and don’t have everyone’s emails, so this is my way of trying to talk to all of the squad at once 🙂
Hello all you wonderful S squad!!! I miss each of your faces more than you could ever know and can’t wait til I see y’all in less than TWO months!!! Yipee!
I just wanted to write you all a quick little something letting you know that God has totally blown me away with what He’s called me to next. And I am so excited to announce to y’all that I’m going to squad lead again! Basically I wanted each of you and this squad to be the first ones to know about this decision as my way of honoring each of you and the commitment I have made to each one of you. I head back on the field in July, which is while y’all are still on the field, but in no way does this change anything about any of our relationships, the time I have for each one of you, and the role I have had, and hopefully will continue to have, in your lives.
I also wanted to tell S squad first because I don’t think I can do this without y’all! Your prayers and just the presence of each one of you in my life has radically transformed the way I see myself, my giftings, and the things the Lord is calling me to. I could go down the line and pinpoint specific things that each one of you has called out of me or challenged me in and I can’t thank you each enough for that. I would not be prepared for what is next without having led S, so know that in so many ways y’all are leading this next squad right there with me.
Only about 50 days til Tim, Abby, I roll into Kenya to pop, lock, and drop it with y’all! Earnestly praying for you every day til then, my favorite ones!
