Hey Favorite People!!!
How is debrief??? Give Mama C and Pappy huge hugs from their Gainesville family! We’re more than happy to share them with you… as long as you send them back 🙂
Well… as you all know… it’s that time! This is the next Miracle Month for your squad. Remember what happened last time? Remember how many of you almost didn’t get to Launch and then God dropped some CASH into your accounts? Remember how nervous you were and chose to pray and believe instead? And remember how IT WORKED!?!?!? Well… it’s that time again!
Right now, 22 of you are under $10,000. 16 of you are under $8,000.
Before December 31st, all of you need to be at $10,000 in your account. If you need to account for monthly pledges, then I need you to email me and I’ll send you a form to fill out so we can see where you are at with cash and pledges. Remember – pledges don’t guarantee you are good to go because that money hasn’t actually come into your account yet. So we need to see how close to $10,000 you can get.
So what is God calling your squad to do this month? We are people filled with the power and presence of God… So what does God, inside of you, want to do to produce His miracle? How is your squad going to come together and unite so that each one of you continues the Race?
Speaking of continuing the Race… that brings up one other thing…
Some of you made QUITE the support raising video… (ahem… Hineni…) Made me a laugh a ton… However… I want to ask you guys to take one phrase out of your vocabulary… that phrase is… “send me home.”
No one will ever “send you home.” You may miss a support deadline… your supporters may not come through… something could happen… but when you say “They may send me home” that communicates to your donors that we in the office have a made a decision outside of you. It takes the responsibility off of you, your donors, or God to show up and makes us staff sound like big mean monsters.
I hope you know by this point that I’m not a monster…
So as you communicate to your donors… communicate that you have a deadline that needs to be met… communicate that you have a need that they can fill… communicate that there is opportunity… not threats. Yes a sense of urgency is necessary, but you don’t have to create that sense of urgency by ending with “or else…”
Your video still made me laugh though 🙂
I love each of you and am praying for your Miracle Month! If you have less than $10,000 in your account, remember that I MUST hear from you before December 15 so that I can advocate for you!
