Hey Squad!!!
In exactly 10 days I am going to get to see each of your beautiful, shining faces… WOW!! I can’t believe it! Training camp is so exciting… so much fun… one of my favorite times of year. Myself and the rest of the Admissions team are going to be working hard these next 10 days to help you get ready and get here!
So today is your second support coaching goal of $4000. Remember… these goals are just to gauge your progress. If you are behind that mark, I am here to help you. You’re not in trouble, you’re not in danger, we just need to work hard together. So if you have less than $4000 in your support account right now, give me a call this week so I can help you.
Also… with training camp just around the corner… we have our first big deadline of $1000. That first $1000 covers the cost for training camp and all of the pre-trip expenses that happen. If you have less than $1000 in your support account you MUST call me TODAY or TOMORROW. Again… you are not in trouble, but we need to have some serious discussions.
About a year ago, a guy named Warren applied and got accepted 1 week before training camp. He had ZERO in his account but he knew that he knew that he was supposed to go with the I squad. He knew that he had to have $1000 in his hand when he got to camp or else we would have to send him home. He prayed the whole way on the airplane and just after arriving at camp one of his teammates walked up and said “I’m supposed to give this for Warren.” It was a $1000 check.
Even with God providing in such an amazing way, Warren worried about support all during camp. He would come up and ask “Can’t I just write a blog today?” or “Can’t I just work on my letter right now?” and I would continue to tell him… “No Warren… you need to be HERE at camp… trust God with the rest.” That was his least favorite thing to hear.
When Warren got home from camp he sent out his first letters. One week later, Warren was fully funded.
Some of you right now are facing Warren-type situations. You know that you know that you know that God has called you for this time. But when you look at your account you don’t see it happening. I can’t hide the fact that if you don’t have the money for the trip, you aren’t going. It’s just part of what this journey is about. Some of you that money is going to rush in, reassuring you that you are in the right place. Some of you are going to step out in faith, seeing nothing until the 11th hour. No matter what your journey is in support raising, you are not alone! I am here to walk with you through the process. So give me a call and let’s keep in touch!
