In the past couple of weeks I have fallen upon an unforeseen circumstance and I now need to ask you for help. Back in June I thought that I was fully funded but there was a clerical error and in reality I still need $1,175 USD.
I’m not in danger of going home but in order to leave the field completely debt free I need to see that amount in my support account in the next 5 weeks. At this point I have given all of my own savings to this trip. In my account right now I have $200 set aside to buy warmer clothing (Ukraine is cold and I’m still wearing most of my summer clothing) and $500 to put insurance on my car so I can get to work when I return.
So basically… I am completely in God’s hands.
I also want to say that I have the most amazing supporters in the whole wide world. I can honestly say that this year has changed my life, revolutionized my perspective and filled me with more passion, drive and determination than I have ever had before. I am extremely thankful to each and every person who has supported my going on this trip. You have given me the greatest gift that I could ever ask for and I am so blessed by you.
Whatever happens I know that God is in complete control and I can rest in his peace knowing that I am well loved and well taken care of. But, admitedly, it would be amazing not to leave this year with debt.
