Well folks, I’ve been in Mijas, Spain about six days now moving into a house with nine other interns, getting acquainted with our little town of Mijas, and preparing to get my world rocked. We’ve met in our “classroom” the past two mornings, getting an introduction to G42 as well as some background on one of our instructors, David Hearn. Tomorrow morning we will begin to hear from Andrew Shearman, the man who followed God’s dream for his own life and founded G42.
Through instruction and impartation from Andrew, Dave Hearn, and David Fredrickz, as well as visiting lecturers, I expect to be pushed and challenged on a level that I haven’t yet experienced. It is going to be a lot to digest and learn from, and and a challenge to step up into places I probably won’t be comfortable with. Where will God lead me? What parts of me will have to die for him to work in and through me? All of me? How do I lead? If I could have my own ministry, what would it look like? These things and many more are going to come into play, and what else can I say except “Thank you Lord?” Thank you for who you are. Thank you for real life, breath, love. Thank you for bringing me here and blessing me in so many ways. Help me to honor you and my leaders here with my life, my actions, my words.
This ought to be one heck of a time…
