Well the time is here. I had hoped it would not come. But alas, here I am, writing a support blog. But not for myself, as my funds are all in, but for my fellow Racers. There are a handful of Racers who have not yet received all their funds, still some of whom are getting close to running out of time. Dave “Matt” Williams, Anna Coffey, Kara Frate, and my team mate Amanda Hamilton all need to raise a set amount of money by June 1st! Amanda’s is just under a thousand, and the others are more last I heard. I believe Matt needs almost $4,000. As you can see, this is not just a letter asking for support of finances, but support of prayer. Pray that the givers God has picked out will hear their call and be obedient, that any fundraisers being thrown back home are successful, that the Racers and their families would fully trust in God to provide, and most importantly, that God’s love, glory, grace, power, and truth be seen through this time.
My friend Todd once said that one thing we forget alot is that we do not serve a broke God. The money is there, and it will show up in HIS timing. And no matter what the out come of this test, may we all remember that HE IS GOD! Nothing else is worth our worry.
