Halleluiah! Praise be to God! His name alone is above all other names! May He be praised and lifted up by the very beat of our hearts! And above all, may our lives be to the glory of the one who is in us. That when people see our good works, they do not say, “What an incredible person he is.” Instead they may say, “What an incredible God he must serve.” HE gets all the glory. HE gets all the praise. At HIS name, EVERY KNEE WILL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD! Halleluiah.

I would apologize for starting out like that, but I’m not sorry. If someone reading this does not believe as I do, they better get used to it because there will be much more to come. The reason for such passionate praise blogging has to do with something I discovered yesterday.

When I first started raising money for this trip, I knew I needed $14,600 for the trip and the insurance. Well, after a good turnout at my “gospel praise fest” fundraiser last weekend, I decided to get a grand total of what all I had raised. So my mom and I went to the bank to check the savings account and went online to see how much was in my mission account.

We added it all up and it came out at $14,638! Everything I needed plus some. God is incredible! And money is still coming in. We have not gotten an answer yet on what God wants us to use the excess on yet. The prospect of sending it to my teammates has definitely crossed my mind, as well as the fact that we still don’t know how we’re going to handle my car payments (still have over $4,000 left on it). There were a few other ideas my mother came up with but nothing is certain yet. Please pray for God’s answer.

My dear friends, God is truly a loving and awesome God. If He calls you to it, HE IS GOING TO SEE YOU THROUGH IT! Hang in there all you world racers. The blessings are on their way. Hang in there all you widows. His loving arms are waiting for you. Hang in there all who are weary and heavy laden. Come to Christ and He will give you rest! Every knee will bow. Every tongue will confess. For He is lord!  Amen.
