Hello, friends and strangers!

Last May, I graduated from high school and have been struggling with the “college life” ever since. When I started high school four years ago and looked into the future, I saw the typical “American Dream.” I wanted to go to college, have a couple kids, live in a big white house, and own a dog. God had other plans. Bigger plans. Better plans.

You could say I have been called to the mission field ever since I was a little girl. From the time I was five years old, I wanted to travel the world and live my life in other countries. From a very young age, I was aware that the world my Creator had made was endless. And so are the opportunities to build His Kingdom.

Applying to college after college last year stressed me out more than ever. I visited campus after campus, never feeling peace, and never feeling God. But when I applied to the World Race? Overwhelming peace.

I knew I felt peace because I was finally saying YES to God.

My expectations for this trip are to grow closer than ever to Christ by loving on His people and spreading His grace around the world. I am ready to experience God in big ways. My vision is to encourage others here at home also, while I’m out on the field.

Follow my journey through my blog as a travel to Central America, Southeast Asia, and Africa, abandoning the American dream for a Christ centered life.
