Dear Beautiful Souls
The last few years I have been backpacking and challenging myself physically, spiritually and emotionally. I love getting outside and exploring the Lord’s imagination and waiting on him to show me how He will provide for and protect me. In him, I know that I will never lack anything. God is the good portion and He is all I have and want in this life. In a way, I feel like I have already been running the race with God, but I can feel God asking me for more than what I already have been doing.
What the world needs to see is not I but Jesus. It’s all about His kingdom. The goal is for people to come to know who He is and come to the overwhelming understanding that God’s love will never fail them. That The One who hung the stars knows them by their name, and He is also the one that will never leave them nor forsaken them.
I begin January 1st with a ministry called The World race. The plan is to step out of my comfort zone and fully devote everything to The Lord. I will be traveling with a group of missionaries for 11 months in 11 countries. It will be challenging, but it is Christ who is alive in me. We will be: loving on kids, serving where there is need, loving the widow, claiming freedom for those who are in imprisoned and much more because our God’s love is unending. As you may already know, every great journey has its share of challenges along the way and my challenge right now is raising $16,982 for the year that I will be gone. I fully believe that this is where I am meant to continue my journey and I would be honored to receive help from you. Please partner with me in prayer and consider giving financially.
Since I was young, all that I have wanted to do with my life is travel the world and help in any way that I can. Now I have a purpose in the name Jesus Christ. There are no limits on His name, so I walk into this opportunity with expectation that the world will not be the same. I know God will impact lives, and even though I am going with the intention to give I know I will also be abundantly receiving much.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2
In Christ,
Monique Morris
