Well that is a good question and I wasn’t sure until I met my contact Emmi. Take a look at the video posted to understand her life and who she is. I have only known her for a week and she has spoken so much wisdom in to my life it is amazing! My team is partnering with her team of people in "Love Acts". That has us going in to the red-light district at night to build relationships with people in that scene. That could look like anything, the women selling themselves to the foreigners coming on vacation or business, or the lady boys (men who think they are women) All of these people need the love of Christ, and God sees them all the same, as His children. This month I have already learned that it is easy to show love to the oppressed but can I show love to the oppressor? I pray that God continues to give me the eyes to see everyone equally with love, like Christ sees them. That every person is the same and is need of Christ’s love, and they the actions they display does not define them as a person. Please pray for my team as we go out to the red-light district to reach the people through our actions of love as well as some of us intercede and pray for the people out that night. We will rotate every night with prayer/intercession and those actually going out into the bars.

Stay in tune for my experience the first night and how I freaked out….
