Everyone has those moments where we turn to someone or something to be that lifeline to fix or solve our problems. Recently when I have had found myself, frustrated, angry, pushed to my limits, and fearful, I get caught up in my own decisions and weakness that I fail to recognized God is and always will be my lifeline. I don’t just have one chance to use my lifeline, but I have too many to count. How simple it is to forget you have a lifeline that is waiting there for you to reach out, in this chaotic world.
I am comforted daily that I have this gift and I have learned that God loves me more than I will ever know. My heart breaks for those everyday who are in need of this same lifeline. God has given me this opportunity through The World Race, to share His grace and mercy, and tell the world about His everlasting love for us. That they will always have the lifeline of Jesus, to raise them from darkness and despair. How He will never forsake us, and be by our side forever. God has called me to this journey and he is shaping me daily for what lies ahead. My prayer is that I will not lose sight of my lifeline in times of deep frustration and also praise Him in times of overwhelming joy.
