Before I became a Christian, I was a self-proclaimed atheist. I italicized the word "atheist" because in hind sight, I was actually agnostic. I didn't realize it then, but I prayed… And often. Was I aware I was speaking directly to God? No, not at the time. But thinking back I realized that I prayed for many common things: for safety in moments of danger, for the improbable to come to fruition or for a girl to notice me.

This gets me thinking, being the logically rational man I am, do other atheists pray like I did? I realize that every human wishes for things, but isn't wishing just a basic form of praying? Isn't wishing merely asking for something to be delivered to you? Question is, if you wish for something, who will deliver it? Truth be told, everything you have is from God. So every wish made true is credited to God.

Leads me to my next point: perhaps sharing the gospel with atheists isn't as difficult as I assumed it would be. After all, we are all created to be in a relatioship with God. Yes, even Richard Dawkins.
