World Race Cost Breakdown

 

 

I will need to raise $16,250 in order to go on The World Race. So, if you’re thinking about giving, you’re probably curious about where all the money goes, right?  

MISSION

Share the good news of Jesus Christ to the world. We will build churches, work with non-profits and hospitals, fight human trafficking, care for orphans and the homeless, teach English to kids, pray with people, feed those that are hungry, and more.


 

COUNTRIES: India, Nepal, China, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Mongolia, and Vietnam

DEADLINES

  • $3,500- By June 27, 201
  • $7,500- By August 22, 2014
  • $11,000- By December 1, 2014 (End of 3 months on the field)
  • $16,250 – TOTAL Due By March 1, 2015 (End of 6 months on the field)

The $16,250 is broken down into these categories…

  • Training Camp – $325 – (Covers my cultural, biblical, physical and team training before departure)
  • Field Support – $650 – (Providing us with supplies, local contacts within countries, etc.)
  • WR Development Program – $1,950 (Improvements and Developments to continue making it possible for Adventures In Missions to send out missionaries)
  • Administration Fees – $2,763 – (Processing, paying the staff who literally sets up all of our travel – flights, visas, train, bus etc., meals, missions, etc.)
  • World Racer – $10,562

 

65% of the funds that I will be raising go towards my personal expenses for the 11 months on the field. Below is an additional chart that will break down my personal budget and where the $10,562 will go.

My personal budget is broken down into these categories…

  • Intercontinental Travel – $4,753.90
  • Food – $1,373.06
  • Lodging – $2,006.78
  • Transportation – $1,161.82
  • Long Distance Travel & Misc. Supplies – $1,267.44  

 

However, this does not include other expenses such as:

 

*International Medical Insurance 

* Daily $ to live on while on the Race          

* $3-5 a day is all that we can live on based on our raised support money, so in addition we need excess funds for any extra food, toiletries, excursions ect. 

* Gear needed for the World Race

* Vaccinations (yes, they can be costly)

* Passport
