Some of my supporters have asked:

  • So if, for whatever reason it may be,you are not able to go on The World Race or are sent home at some point during your 11 months, do we get a refund of our donations?

The answer is: No.

Why? Although I am raising funds as a world racer, the giver is not just investing in me as an individual. The giver is investing in the overall mission and vision of the Adventures In Missions organization. Whatever funds I personally raise are going to Adventures In Missions. I am one person launching into missions, but when you donate you are not just sending me but helping to continuously support an organization who mobilizes missionaries. Therefore, the one who donates must know that if I am unable to complete my time on the mission field that money that I fundraised stays within Adventures In Missions organization and is used to help fund their programs and launch additional missionaries.

Donations are tax deductible. 🙂

Its a perk that you may know me individually because you have a personal contact to associate with where your prayerfully considered donations are going to. Isnt that awesome!?!?! You know a famous missionary girl!

Sike. Sorry, Im supposed to be dying-to-self. This whole self abandonment thing is rough :p

I hope this answers your questions. If not, click the contact me button and ask away!
