howdy all!!
I just wanted to post a little blog that will update you on a few things.
1. Post office is now doing ministry in Mwanza, Tanzania. We will be leading church services, bible studies, and prayer meetings. This last week we have gone to two different hospitals to love on and encourage those suffering from all kinds of illnesses. It’s been really interesting. Your heart breaks but you know that showing the patient that you have pitty on them doesn’t bring them hope. So I’ve been fighting to smile, laugh, and joke to bring their minds away from their current situation and onto faith, hope, love. We’ve been learning a lot so far this month!
2. From what I’ve heard, Aubrey has not been found yet. Her father went to Nepal to search for her. The news says that locals were telling Paul (her father) that he would never find her. He is thinking that means someone abducted her. PLEASE continue to lift her and her family up in prayer! Though it’s been frustrating to not hear anything, the small things I have heard make me think there’s still hope. Honestly, Jesus won. Jesus defeated the grave, so there is ALWAYS hope. My prayer is that I don’t forget that and that you won’t either!
3. A couple days ago, some people broke into our house here in Mwanza. They stole the computers, hard drives, iPods, wallets, and a passport of 5 of our guys. There has been a lot done to figure out who did it and where the stuff is. Apparently the entire city of Mwanza knows about the robery…so i suppose that’s good news. The thing that is amazing though, God totally protected us. No one was hurt or harmed. But please be praying for the guys that got there belongings stolen. they feel violated, angry, and the potential for bitterness is knocking on their doors. On the brightside, the robbers returned the passport along with a wallet and a backpack the other night. God is good. We have to rememeber that!
that’s all for now! my time is running out on the internet so I must go. blessings to you! thanks for your prayers, encouraging words, and love! it’s MUCH appreciated!
