Howdy from Matamata, New Zealand! Holy moly, did God do
something extra special with this country’s scenery?!?! Driving from the
airport to Matamata, I remembered the desire I had when I was younger to visit
New Zealand. AND NOW I’M HERE!! Oh my word, it just hit me today, God totally
brought me here. What a blessing to have my dream come true. What a blessing to
have the dream be part of God’s will and plan for my life! I get to love on the
people of New Zealand, experience their culture, and look at the countryside.
Praise Jesus!!
This last summer, my aunt asked me if there was a place that
I would want to live so bad that it brought tears to my eyes. Now I say the
following, knowing full well, that I’ve not been here an entire day yet. I also
know that I could be overly emotional due to multiple factors. But being here
in New Zealand nearly brought me to tears. Now, I also realize that I have 10
other countries to visit…
I’m so excited for the next 11 months. I can barely stand
it! I want to jump head first into this adventure. I want to get my world
rocked, and I want to rock the world. I don’t know what God has in store for me
on this journey, but I’m excited to get this “road on the show”.
I have exciting
news, too. Our team has added two new members, making us 7 once again! Lauren
and Cat will be joining team Komboa, and I’m so excited! They are lovely ladies
and I’m fired up to see what God is going to do through us all! Please be
praying for health and safety throughout the weeks as we are in New Zealand.
The country here is materialistic and humanistic, so pray that our words of
Good News will not fall on deaf and or indifferent ears! Until next time (which
may or may not be longer than we’re all hoping for…wink wink Aunt Connie) take
care and know that you are loved!!!!
