Sometimes, I find myself at a loss for words.

I know, it must be hard to believe for some of you, but I can’t quite put into words what the Father is doing in my heart right now.

As I have reflected on the past two months, I have tried to formulate a cohesive blog, but I just keep getting stuck in trying to explain everything happening around me. I feel tremendously honored to have the opportunity to travel the world with 47 other missionaries who love the Lord and love people. Seeing God move and work in us and through us is an indescribable blessing. There is so much I have experienced and my heart is FULL!

GOD IS GOOD!!!

I will start by sharing a little bit about last month, in Romania. I traveled from one end of the country to the other, visiting villages and ministries in Sistarovat, Lipova, Arad, Timisoara, Dragonesti, and Bucharest. Each place was its own little blessing in itself and I found the Lord teaching me so much throughout the month. One of my favorite memories from last month was meeting this sweet lady, Baba Dora, in the village of Sistarovat. Baba is the word for an elderly woman or a grandma in Romania. There was something special about Baba Dora though. She was funny, yet feisty. She didn’t hesitate to put us in our place when we weren’t shucking the corn right, but continued to open her heart to us and welcome us into her home. We worked with Baba Dora and her family in the corn fields and helped around the house where we could. She would often ask why we wanted to help them for free and we were able to share with her the love that we have for people and that we want to help with no strings attached. We don’t do it for any ulterior motive, it is simply to love and serve like Christ did. We need nothing in return. There is no reward greater than knowing that we can be the face of Jesus to someone.

Throughout the month we participated in various ministries including working in corn fields, doing kids club, baling hay for local farmers, teaching English classes, painting and doing yard work for those in need, handing out Bibles and village outreach, hosting an eye glass clinic for those in need, partnering with local churches, and building relationships with the people in each village.

At the end of the month, the whole squad met up in Bucharest where we were able to have a brief time of worship and several meetings together as a squad. We also announced some team changes and were so excited about inviting new people into leadership to serve for this season on the World Race. God has truly gifted this squad and brought people to a place of abandonment and dependency on Him! It’s still an ongoing process we all go through and it’s amazing to watch the Lord lavish His love upon His children!

Now that we have arrived in India, a new continent with new teams and new leaders, everything seems to have shifted. There is a freshness in the air, not literally (haha), but definitely spiritually. E-squad has embraced this new season with an anticipation and excitement of what the Lord has in store for them. I truly believe that things are just getting started for us here! We are so looking forward to what the Lord will continue to do through us and in our hearts along the way. God is so faithful and so in love with His children. His constant pursuit is not just for the lost in this world, but for US as believers too! He is STILL pursuing us and He will NEVER stop!! He wants us to have MORE and MORE and MORE of Him in our lives! Do not be deceived that it is only those “out there” that matter. Regardless of where you are in your spiritual walk, He is pursuing YOUR heart too!

“Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.” -Psalm 23:6 (NLT)

I truly believe that even though I am out here on the mission field pursuing God and loving on people, HE is just as adamantly pursuing ME and MY HEART along the way. This month, ironically, marks the 22nd anniversary of my life with Christ. I made the decision to follow God when I was 8 years old, but the lessons just keep coming. He’s pursuing me just as much TODAY as He was THEN. It is humbling to realize that you will always be learning and growing, even if you have been following Christ for more than 20 years or just 1 year, He is always revealing new things to your heart.

Are you listening?

Are you seeking the Truth and the revelations from the Holy Spirit?

There is always MORE to be poured out and MORE to learn about God, His glory, and this abundant life He has called us to live.

“I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine. He feeds his flock among the lilies.” Song of Solomon 6:3 (NKJV)

The more I find out about Him, the more I realize about myself, too. We were all created in the image of God. As we discover more about the Father’s heart, the character of Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit, we will also discover who we were really created to be.

“For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.” –Colossians 3:3-4

What is He teaching you today?

What is He whispering to your heart?

How is He actively pursuing you right now?

Look around. Think about your life. Reflect on your blessings. You will see Him. He is everywhere. God manifests Himself in ALL of creation. He is the artist signature on every created thing. It all points to Him.

“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.” -Romans 1:20 (NKJV)
