Ok! I am leaving in seven hours on an 11 hour bus ride across Nigeria to our new ministry contact. I’m making this quick so I can go to sleep (after I shower, pack, etc)…
Fun bullet point #1 – internet is still sketchy and hard to come by in Africa. Go figure.
Fun bullet point #2 – our ministry for this month will be working with a Bible school…doing something. Also, possibly working with widows. Maybe.
Fun bullet point #3 – debrief was awesome here in Lagos. The city is insane (not in a good way) but where we stayed was safe and fun and relaxing and we had a great time.
Fun bullet point #4 – the teams of L Squad are completely totally 100% changed. Five new team leaders (Brad and I are the two veterans now) and not a single person is on a team with anybody they were previously with. Can you say “wow.” It’s been a crazy 24 hours with a lot of emotions, but we are seeing God’s hand in it all and I think I can speak for the squad when I say that we are all excited to see how the rest of the Race looks (only four months left!)
