So after a few days in New Zealand ( and by a few I mean 1 day) you start to notice some of the countrys meteorological curiosities. (Like how I used the word meteorological in there? I’m not gana lie, it made me feel pretty smart to use that one =) Anyway… one of the first things you will notice is that the weather can change from sunny to rainy in the time it takes you to say Kiwi (New Zealand’s national bird). For anyone who has spent some time in the Nashville area these irregular weather patterns are nothing new but when you are living out of a tent and have to hang your laundry out on a line to get it dry this meteorological (there’s that word again) curiosity can get rather annoying.

The second thing you will notice is that you will sunburn very quickly. Were talking like zero to firetruck red in less than 10 min. Apparently that big hole in the O-Zone that you hear about every now and then… yep, its right over New Zealand. How did I come by this knowledge you ask? Lets just say that after a couple days my nose and ears are still mad at me and are expressing their irritation by glowing bright red and distributing large amounts of pain that seems to go directly to my brain.

Well I think that’s about it for now. I’m gana go try to find some aloe.
