Over a year ago I came across this thing called the World Race and immediately felt the calling to go… There was a huge obstacle in the way…

 $16,285

I thought to myself, there is no way! But the Lord said go, so I had no choice.

Sitting at home last year my hopes were to be fully funded before leaving the states. That didn’t happen and it was easy to question God, why not? I guess it would have been easier leaving knowing I had financial assurance. However, I faithfully went and trusted that the Lord would provide along the way.

I see now the Lord just wanted to represent His grace and power to show up at the last minute. I was given a few grace deadlines when not meeting the set deadlines… God is good, aye? Yes, He is and in fact, showed up.

I can now say these four words that every racers longs to say….

 I AM FULLY FUNDED!!!

And where do I begin… I don’t know of many words to describe how thankful I am and just how much I love my supporters! You know who you are! I hope that you have been blessed and touched in some way by my blogs, Facebook, and Instagram post. That is my way of taking you with me. Know that you are huge part of what the Lord is doing in and around me all around the world. I wish I could physically take you with me because words and pictures just don’t do it justice.

I look forward to sitting down with you in a coffee shop sharing stories and answering questions but this thing isn’t over just yet! We still have two months left! Stay tuned and expect the Lord to do some BIG things!

Even though my World Race is fully funded, the opportunity to give is still there. The Lord has put it on my heart to go beyond the requirement to meet further needs of ministries and people that we come in contact with in these last three countries.

For example, one opportunity to put this to practice came up yesterday. The Lord gave my team and I the vision of writing notes to the people of “no mans land” (the land between Thailand and Burma borders). These notes will speak truth into their identity that is found in Christ that they would otherwise never know. Things like, you are loved, you are worthy, different scriptures, etc… The ministry here is donating food to this land and a man who lives there will be taking it due to the fact that we aren’t allow to deliver it ourselves. We will be attaching the notes to the to go boxes. The Lord put it on my heart to have these notes laminated so that way they would be floating around no mans land for days, weeks, and possibly years. I will be purchasing this with money that has been donated to my personal banking (mission) account back home.

Future funds could go towards things such as buying Bibles, blankets, toiletries, and shoes for villages without these items.

So what happens if some of these funds donated are left over when returning to the states??

Post-Race plans are a bit blurry at the moment but there are some short-term mission opportunities in the making. Any funds that have been donated to my personal (mission) account will be put towards any missions (local or international) that I take part of in the future… and who knows, maybe I will begin my own ministry somewhere down the road ;).

To donate to my personal mission account, contact me and I will give you further information.
