Today we went to go visit YWAM for our ministry. There we met Jonathan and his family that lived at the base. They were such kind people, and very welcoming. Jonathan gave us a tour of the base and to me it’s just amazing how people live in Africa. They are not guaranteed water everyday but they don’t let that stop them. As we sat around the table Jonathan’s wife served us coffee, tea and cookies. We started to talk about many different topics and elephants was one of them. They began to tell us how elephants just travel through their backyard. How they will eat whatever it wants. This just blew my mind to think wild elephants traveling right through their yard. I’ve never seen an elephant and I thought that’d definitely be amazing to see. As we carried on the conversation it lead to the topic of God providing and how He will support His children. That if you keep following your passion and do what God has called for you to do He will provide.
It was a great reminder because my final deadline for my World Race Missions trip is July 1st. I still need $4,749 to raise. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t worry about it at times. So far all the money for every other deadline has shown up because my followers have been such awesome supporters and believed in my dream to go out to the nations.
Jonathan shared with us a story how he had saved up all of his money to go to school for 3years and right when he started the currency changed. He only was able to pay for one school year. God told him to stay and finish it out so he did. He wasn’t able to get his diploma until he paid it all off. He was able to walk the stage because a man from Canada offered to pay for the rest of his tuition.
I know God calls us to certain things in our life. I know the biggest battle of it all is sitting in silence listening for God to give us direction. God will not leave you stranded, but it is our responsibility to listen for direction and take action for ourselves to make that calling fall into place.

Matthew 6:26
“Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”
