Hello family and friends,
So I have been praying about fundraisers to do for my trip. I felt like The Lord told me to do a yard sale. I talked to my family and friends about helping me out and if they wanted to donate anything for the yard sale. I actually had a lot more support than I thought i would have. I cannot believe at how much stuff we sold and how much we made! I almost fell out of my chair when I was counting the money. My mom mentioned to me a few weeks before all this to pray and ask God what I should do and what type of gear I should get for this trip. Since I will be doing the extreme you want to be practical for a trip like this and things add up and its SO expensive! But I prayed about it and asked God and told him what I wanted specifically and he sure enough helped me raise that much money for my gear! I got exactly what i wanted! It may be rude to say how much we made but we made over $800 from the yard sale! 800 dollars! i mean who does that at a yard sale?! and it is exactly what I needed! I got the majority of all the pricey items I needed for my trip and I am very happy about it! God sure does answer prayers! I was a little worried I wasn’t going to have the money to buy my gear (since this trip does cost a lot) but its ALL worth it !
I just want to take a moment to thank the wonderful people who have been helping me with their support! You have no idea how much it blesses my heart! God is faithful and already I am learning so much from him. Trust and Faith are the two main things I am learning and wow is all I can say! I also am learning about giving. I myself do not have much money and most everything I work my butt off for is going for this trip, basically my whole entire life is being flipped upside down and I am slowly giving all my belongings away to raise money for my missions trip. Some say they are broke and cant give anything. Which I understand, but remember its not me asking you for your money to help support my trip. I am simply asking you to pray about it and ask The Lord what should you do to make a difference. Without you guys and prayer I have nothing. without prayer I am weak. Any support I can receive (prayer, words of encouragement, your company, donations, or whatever else) that is the support I need!
