Last night I went to youth group at my church and during worship I heard God say, “Learn to walk with me.” And you’re probably thinking the same thing I was thinking, “Isn’t that what all believers are supposed to be doing?” Then I heard God say, “No, learn to walk with me everyday. Remember to completely trust in me and ask me where to lead you everyday.”
Coming off the race, most racers know what their next step is. They know where God is calling them to next. I am not one of those racers. I remember I told one of my teammates one time that I would probably come off of the race not knowing what I was going to be doing next. I didn’t actually think that would be true but it is.
I have no plan or next step. I don’t know when or where or even how I am going to get a job. I don’t know when or where or what I am even going back to school for. I have an idea as to where God might be leading me but I don’t know for sure yet.
The one thing that I do for sure know during this in between season, is that He is asking me for my full trust. He is asking me to walk with Him everyday and not make a plan because He already has one for me.
