I know I've been blogging quite a bit lately, and I hope you've been finding it worthwhile.  The reason I've been writing a little more than usual is because I'm incredibly excited about what I'm walking into…which is serving as a Squad Leader for one of the next World Race sqauds to launch in January!  (D Squad is an incredibly awesome, powerful and hilarious group of believers!)

So, to recap, I'll be spending the first four months of 2012 with this crazy group in the field (Central America and Eastern Europe), leading them and helping them adjust to life on The World Race.  It truly is an honor and privelige to serve them, and I cannot wait for January when we launch.

That's what I'm excited about…and I want you to be involved in the whole thing.  So I hope you'll stay tuned to the blog to read about and see what God will do with this new family He's put together.  Personally, I think He's going to do some pretty incredible stuff to and through us!

I'd also like to invite you to join in the adventure through partnering with me via financial support.  Once again I must raise the funds needed to cover the living, travel and logisitcal expenses of those four months of field work.  I have been overwhelmed with all the support I've raised since joining the World Race in April of LAST YEAR, and I hope you are willing to stick with me in this next season.  My goal is $5,600.

I have already setup a major fundraising event on Friday, November 18.  The Bluff for Love Poker Tournament is back and will be in full swing that night!  It's open to everyone and the past two were incredibly fun!  For more information on that, click here!

I'll also try to keep you up to date with any future events between now and January!

You can also click the "Support Me" link on the left over there and donate via credit card (5% of which goes to the processing fee) if you would like to.

Also, I would love to just sit and talk in person with you.  I have quite a bit of downtime on my hands these days, and quite frankly, I am getting a little bored with trimming and maintaining my nose hair on a daily basis.  So if you are interested in just getting out of the fast lane of life for awhile and having some solid conversation, let me know…I would love that.

I truly believe God has called me to this season, to serve these people, in this particular way.  It's not something I was planning on just two months ago…but He has been stirring something in me, and has led me down this path…and I am completely on board with it.  Eager in fact, for it to happen.  So if you have any questions, thoughts or comments, please let me know.  I love you guys.  I am incredibly grateful for EVERYTHING you have poured into me over the past year-and-a-half.  Thank you very, very much.
