We were asked to write a blog about how we felt before leaving on this mission trip. Here is what I am expecting…
I expect….
…God to ROCK my world
…to be stretched in many ways
…to be humbled
…for my faith to be challenged
…to grow tremendously in my walk
…learn what’s it’s really like to LIVE
…to miss home, family, and friends
…to not want to leave at the end of the race
…to make lasting friendships in which Christ is the center
…to feel empty and lonely at times
…to feel rejuvenated and encouraged at other times
…my eyes to be opened by the works of the Lord
…laughter and tears
…the wonders of God’s creation at a closer look
…the Lord to use me in ways I never thought possible
…TO NEVER BE THE SAME…
