On our last day, we were finally able to go to the waterfall. In a way it was such a blessing, for our squad leader was able to join us in this experience.
So we go out and before we can even get to the Waterfall, we have to cross a lagoon/swam-like thing. We then had to cross over a field of mud (This was interesting! you take one step and fall in to your knees. I nearly lost my shoe it was so deep). Then we were able to hear the waterfall, but could barely could see it. So we had to swim over to it. We were told that many people swim here, but that there were freshwater crocodiles (who don’t harm people-unless you manage to upset them).
So we swim, against a lot of current. We see some crocodiles about a yard or two in front of us, and we would pause for a little then keep on swimming. We make it over to the waterfall and begin to climb up the rocks that looked perfectly like steps. They are smooth and easily to climb up and down.
It was so amazing to see Australia from that height (don’t worry mom, we were only about 25-30 feet up). The air was so clear and the sight was perfect. It was a great way to bring our team to a place of rest, adventure and restoration. It was also a great way to bond withRobby, our fearless squad leader (who actually juumped from the waterfall).
Looking back on this day, it made perfect sense to have this moment. Because the moment we got back and dried off and finished our dinner, the night of deliverance, prophesy and freedom would begin.
