Last night we had a women’s beauty night. All of the women, ladies and little girls were welcome to come to a beauty night we were holding on. We had stuff to do nails, hair, feet washing, hand massages and more. It was the first time where we had a huge turnout. We had about 50 people there at once, and more and more trickled in! The entire night every single girl on our team was busy making the women beautiful. I had a long line of 
women for hand massages and nail painting. There never seemed to be a break. It was such a powerful time to meet new people, go deeper with some we already knew, pray for those in need and just to pamper those who never receive any attention.
We all felt that this opened the door for our ministry here in the Northern Territory. This was a great way to ‘break the ice’ (in 40°C heat). We now have girls running to us to be in our arms, people beginning to share their personal lives, and people are seeking us out (just as much as we are seeking them) to grow in our relationships with the Lord.
It amazes me how a simple act of making people feel beautiful can break so many barriers. What simple act can you do to deepen a relationship with someone around you?
