Yesterday morning I flew into LAX, met up with about 10 of my squad mates, and the ADVENTURE BEGAN!
We spent about 5 hours in the airport just hanging out waiting for teamates to arrive/runnnning from terminal to terminal to pick people up! This was partially because we were SO excited to see each other, but also because everyone overpacked & needed help carrying things!!! so crazy!

After we picked everyone up, we grabbed a taxi and headed to the hostel. Now, I am from little old ND, and we do not have hostels there. So, I was imagining a room full of bunk beds, & random strangers! To my suprise we are staying at basically a cheap hotel! 10 people in 2 rooms who are sleep deprived, and excited results in
* Hacky-sack fights (much like a snowball fight)
* Spades
* Singing Random disney, country, & soundtrack songs
That was all within a couple hours! Then today we attended a taping of the game show "Let's Make a Deal" with Wayne Brady! SO fun! HOwever, we had our first taste of rain. IT rained ALLL DAY. Did I mention we waited outside in lines all day! In the rain!? Did we Complain? No, we made Jordan sing random soul/gospel songs! Yes, we had lots of looks! 🙂 Sadly, no one had the chance to win any money, but we definitely had a good time! And I am pretty positive between Brian dressing like a hillbilly, Courtney and I dressing like Go GO Girls, Jake a Rasta-man, & all of us singing and dancing, we got on tv a couple times!!!
I am so excited for this journey! Thank you to everyone and anyone that has supported me in anyway! I am forever grateful! I cannot wait to share all of my experiences with you!
