(Very Short Blog)

     So I have caught myself doing this a
couple of times- especially last travel day. I’ll be looking around
and think to myself, is that one of us?(on the squad), or,
that person looks just like an American.

The funny thing is- when this
happens, and I look closer at the person in question,  I realize
that not only is he or she not actually an American, he or she is not generally Caucasian.  There are two reasons I think this happens:

1. Deep down inside I am probably
looking for home because I am far away from my own country.

2. Everyone looks like an American,
because Americans are
from everywhere. The
fact that a lot of people dress western, just adds to the
illusion- and a strange language by no means shatters it.
