I’ve been struggling to put words to all that God has done this month, and I’ve been struggling to write this post. There are more things I’d like to tell you but I can’t put words to them yet. Maybe someday, but for now let me give you what I can.

Nepal is great.

Today I rode on a bus with a live chicken in a basket. At one point we saw two men and a goat on a motorcycle. Sometimes cows walk through the middle of traffic like they own the town. I’ve eaten water buffalo, goat meat (I think), and yak cheese. One morning I woke up to the Nepali military doing a drill and thought we were under attack. We were not haha. I seriously love Nepal. I’m pretty sure I could live in Kathmandu and be happy. Not because of the yak cheese or motorcycle riding goats, but because of the beautiful community our team was immersed in this month. We ate together, worked together, worshipped and celebrated together. The fellowship we had with the Agape Mission International team embodied that of the church in Acts. It was a community that believed in, embraced, and celebrated the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, and the ability we have as children of God to change the world. I am learning to believe in, embrace, and celebrate these things inside myself.

Nepal was a great place to start this crazy, beautiful, and wild 11 month journey with God. He taught me things there that I can carry and implement into my life for the next 10 months. I’m pretty excited to see all that he has in store for India!
