In each country, pictures were taken. Behind each photograph is a story. Here are my stories.

Japan's beauty is endearing. Osaka is a city engulfed among waves of mountains.

It has been the most developed place we have traveled to yet.

And although the city is vast, beauty such as this is a mere thirty minute subway ride away.

People take their pet dogs pretty seriously. They are a man's best friend in Japan, too.

Shorty after this shot was taken, a monkey swooped down to steal a man's bag. To my surprise, the man endeavored to reclaim his belongings-a task not exactly completed with safety in mind.

Nature is so big, so vast, compared to man.

This clock and every clock really was a reminder to live in every moment, taking no second for granted, lest life pass us by too quickly.

This was one of the precious boys who fell asleep in my lap everyday for the month of December. I can't even explain how cherished that time was to me.

There is something so innocent about child's play.

All of Asia is riddled with monkeys. Great photo-ops indeed.

The sun setting over our home for the month of December. I didn't grow tired of this sight.

I love joy. Especially the simplistic joy of children that, once you think about it, is actually more profound than we could begin to imagine.

This little man was my brother for the month. It's easy to miss him.
