If you've been following my blog all year, you know that by the grace of God, I am fully funded and have been for several months. But sadly, that is not the case for all of my squad mates….
Here is a note from one of my squadmates, Angela who is not yet fully funded:
I'm still just over $1,300 short of being fully funded. I've reached out to everyone I know at home and funds just aren't coming.
I don't want to go home with a balance still on my account (and neither does AIM). Going home never getting fully funded doesn't bring good closure to this year and is disappointing and frustrating to not have reached a goal. I've believed, trusted, reached out, fundraised my heart out but there just isn't money coming in anymore. So I'm reaching out to all of you.

We are due to touch down on US soil in exactly 11 days. And I agree with Angela, it would be very disheartening to come home from a such an incredible, life-changing trip and still have to worry about paying back a debt.
I have worked with Angela a couple times over the course of this trip and it has been such a blessing to have her on the squad! She lights up whenever she works with children, and the love of Jesus just emanates from her. She has the patience of a saint to teach, tutor, play with, and entertain kids for hours! I have seen her grow so much on this Race, especially in boldness and willingness to speak out. She is a living, walking testament to the transformational power of God.
If you or anyone you may know would be willing to support her so that she can finish out these last couple of weeks worry-free, just click on THIS link.
Thank you all for your continued support over this one heck of a journey! And thank you for being willing to take part in such a crazy adventure!
