Since 80% of our students are Chinese, we had no students to teach the 11th and 12th!  So, we went on vacation!!!  We wanted to go to Singapore, but plans fell through, so we decided to go back to Kuala Lumpur for a few days of rest and relaxation.  We were drained from ministry and exhausted from all the traveling back and forth between two locations.  Definitely needed the break!  [After only a week and a half of ministry?  You betcha!]

Last time we were in KL, we were only there for less than 24 hours as we passed through on our way to ministry.  But we still managed to have fun: jaywalking in front of a police car, getting kicked out a building trying to get to the roof [we didn’t even get close, but we still got escorted out by security… oops], and seeing the Petronas Towers.

On our way to KL from Kuala Lipis, we stopped at a National Forest where we did a canopy walk.  It was about an hour hike into the rainforest, an hour wait, and about a 20 minute walk in the canopy.  It is one of the longest canopy walks in the world [420m long]; however, only 230m of it was open when we were there.

Afterwards, we continued down to KL.  We had looked up hostels the night before and booked a place that seemed nice, and little pricier than WR budget, but hey, it was vacation.  We also had a few supporters back in the States that helped pay for it.
[BTW, thanks so much, you know who you are! :)]
