What does a typical day in the life of a World Racer look like?

Well, to be honest, there is no "typical day" in the life of a Racer.  Plans change CONSTANTLY.  What little control you do have, doesn’t even seem like control.  You learn to be content with not knowing.  You learn that being flexible is the best option in 99.9% of circumstances.

This first week in Guatemala, I have been serving in a prison, praying over a church plant location, staying back from ministry to minister to the team by going to the market to buy food, painting a home church building, washing feet in a church service, cooking for my fellow squad mates, cleaning the kitchen after meals, getting up early to work out, washing my clothes by hand, watching my teammate and brother, Ed get baptized in a local pool, exploring ancient Mayan ruins, eating lunches prepared by Loli, Pastor David's wife, forming relationships with all of Pastor David's family, coming together with my squad in worship and prayer, burning our chains and learning to walk in our freedom, playing soccer with my squad and locals, riding in the back of pick up trucks to get places, walking across town to ministry every day, gathering with my team daily to feedback each other, learning who I am because of what God has done for us…

And that's just the first week!  We have ten and half more months of this!
