Give it away
Why do we always fight for the best or to be first?
Really think about that question.
Is it to satisfy our flesh? Where does that come from, The world or Our selfish ways?
We need to stop fighting for ourselves. We need to stop fighting to satisfy our flesh. We could fight for the best or to be first, but instead of keeping it for ourselves, Give it away.
He says, "Give it Away."
Why on black Friday do people fight to get that one item for Christmas that they want and think it will be the best? When it's a thing and honestly it might only satisfy them for awhile, but it won't satisfy them like my God will. I know it's not anywhere near Christmas but that's just an example.
Why do we fight for the best seat at a concert or to watch a game or even going to see a movie?
Give it away!
I challenge you to fight for that best, but only to give it away to someone else, and not to keep it for yourself.
I want to be more like Jesus, and in this world even on the Race I battle my fleshly desires. I can't imagine what it is like now in the States, so pray about this challenge and how you can die to flesh.
This is love, His true love. He calls us to love. One of the greatest commands our Lord gives, is put others before ourselves. I believe this is one way to show His love, that He continually pours out on us.
So Give it away!
