project management of two big events in Tauranga, New Zealand. One being the 50th
Anniversary Celebration of YWAM (Youth With A Mission), as well as the Call2All
event (www.call2all.org) – which is
designed to rise up the next generation of leaders from all across the world.
nations- it spreads the length of a football field and can hold over 2,000
people. This map allows for people to walk across it and pray for the nations
& people of the world. It is
amazing to watch hundreds of people come together and pour out their hearts
together on this map- all speaking in different languages. There were over 40
nations represented at this event including Tonga, Fiji, New Caledonia, China,
Australia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, United States & many more.
The worship on this map is incredibly emotional as we prayed
for our homelands, for Haiti, and for places we have never set foot in. This
map was last used in China with the spiritual leaders from the underground
churches whom have been persecuted for decades. Praying on this map moved me in the most unexpected
way. I spent hours over the
countries in which we are traveling to this year- praying for the people we
might encounter- but it wasn’t until I walked across the United States in which
I fell to my knees and wept in a way I have never experienced. My heart was broken for our country.
nation. I prayed for freedom to be revealed to our country- Freedom from
depression and freedom from materialism-Freedom from addiction & abuse.
Most importantly I asked God to free us from the bondage of Religion – the
structure that binds us from freely loving and experiencing God. I pray for
anyone reading this to be encouraged to dive in, and pray
for freedom in your own lives. Witnessing the nations being prayed for simultaneously by hundreds of perfect strangers gave me a new understanding of HOPE and LOVE for the future of our World.
