Another huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to this cause. I have truely been amazed at your obedience as God leads you to support His work. As of now, I am at $8,800! This means I only have about $5,500 left to go. We’re almost there – not too much farther!
Miracles were seen as the Lord provided exactly the amount I needed
at the time of launch. With the yard sale fundraiser I held the weekend
before I left, I made the launch goal dead on. How amazing that was to
see! I have no doubt that we will be able to see more miracles happen in
the financial aspect of this mission. If it’s His will, it’s
unstoppable!

This support update has been a long time coming because to be honest, I just didn’t know what to do. Even on the field for the first month, I didn’t know if the Lord called me to the entire race or just a portion. It was really just easier to think of it that way because I am not fully funded, and I miss home dearly. I began to argue with myself that maybe I got it wrong, that God doesn’t want me here the whole 11 months.This made me hesitant to continue seeking support. How foolish of me – to limit the Lord’s work to a cash number. It’s only through His guidance that I am here, and I don’t believe He meant that time to be cut short by finances. The God that provided the exact amount I needed for launch is the same God who will provide for the rest of my missionary journey. Not having any control over it, I am forced to trust in Him. And He knows that is just what I need.
So, I am truely excited to see Him work. Oftentimes the finances of a missions trip are overlooked in seeing the work of God. But the work of His Hand can be seen just as much behind the scenes as on the front lines of the mission.
