Hi everyone,
After the race I went back live with my family and God really gave me a time of rest. It was a season of waiting on God and resting in Him. Later on my church let me know that there was an intercessors class at a local bible training institute. I ended up doing that for 3 months and mainly just learning from women and men who have been in ministry for several years. It was incredible to be poured into and to just learn about Intercession and how God uses prayer in cities. During that time I also went to Haiti with an inercession team and was completely blessed by the experience. It was such an honor to do God’s work there!
Now as we are approaching summer two opportunities have arose. One being helping Adventures in Missions do a short term missions trip to the Dominican Republic. That will take place June 10-20. During this time I will be learning how to lead short term missions trips. My hope is to prayfully saturate their journey with God. The other opportunity God has laid before me is to work with American Indians, specifically the Apache people in Arizona with Rock Ministries. I will be doing that from June 20-July 31. There I will be apart of their staff helping out with the short term teams and interceding for the Apache people.
