I’m in Ukraine now!!! But I mean, I’m so far behind on blogging it’s not even funny. I’m just going to pretend I’m still in Swaziland until I’m caught up on everything.
I have about a billion pictures and a billion thoughts that I could blog about but zero energy to get it all together. So I’m going to do a recap I guess you could say.
swaziland days <3
first week we were kind of put in charge of organizing the children’s ministry so we decided to do Daniel in the Lion’s Den. I partly picked this because I knew at the end of the month we were going to the Lion Park and I’m all about big cats. I also wanted to do something a little creative outside of editing pictures, so I locked myself in my little room and spent about four hours and these little story boards.
I know, they are fabulous, right?
well it starts out with the king and Daniel (featured in the uplifting and cheerful color green) and the other princes and noble guys with evil eyes… I was really proud of that little detail.
so Daniel is all about praying, even if there is a stupid law saying he can’t. suckkkaaasss. but the evil guys are spying on him! (still evil eyesss)
so he get thrown into the lions den, but the next morning, the king finds him all posting up with these big cats like it was no big deal (note the kings shocked expression…still makes me laugh. he’s like .. wait whhhat? that’s what I was going for at least)
the cats were really fun to make.
yeah i’m still proud of them. the kids loved them. and it made ministry super easy when we had the story written on the back. our team became a well oiled machine when it came to children’s story time.
shout out to my awesome team! thanks for helping make all the other story boards!!!!

then there was girls night! I got bored one day and decided to make a fort out of the bunk beds. Tiffany then put together a girls night and we all piled in and watching Tangled.
and my days usually looked like this:
please note that the kid above came to us just having wet his pants and five minutes after giving him a new outfit, he wet himself again. awesome.
our sweet ride
then back to base camp to play volleyball
then there was dinner
(Tiffany’s amazing creation)
and our wonderful contact Eric!!!
more to come!
